Holiday { Mini } Sessions

December 1st wrapped up the last of my mini sessions for the year.  Three indoor, three outdoor.  A perfect little mix of cozy and festive inside, paired with that freedom of photographing outdoors that just never gets old. 

I could not have ask for a better day with some of my favorite big + little people. ;)

Happy Holidays all!

Considering Christmas is less than one week away (YIKES), it's about time I get my final few sessions of 2012 posted!  I had always planned on getting all my late November / early December full edits out to clients prior to taking the time to post on my blog.  So while these may not be standard "sneak peaks" I couldn't help but share a few favorites from the past few weeks.

First up, meet Adam, William + Thomas - three adorable brothers that traveled all the way from North Carolina for their photo session.  This family and I share good mutual friends, and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph them during a recent visit to the area.  And despite a very chilly November morning, these little guys made what could have been a challenging session full of giggles and awesome smiles.  

I just adore the "brotherly love" moments captured - and I kinda can't get enough of little Thomas showing his big brothers who's boss (in case you can't tell from the photo below, he was not about to hand over that cozy blanket)!

Laine Christine { 18 months } + Mini Family

She's back!  Sweet little Laine, one of my most loyal clients ;).  Newborn, 3-months, 6-months, 12-months and now 18.  WHERE does the time go?  This blue-eyed beauty just keeps getting more and more fun to photograph (not to mention faster and faster)! ;) 

I was fortunate enough to meet with these great family friends at their beautiful new home on an equally gorgeous fall evening (love that perfect glowing light from a setting sun).  This time around we had the whole crew join in for a mini-family session after Laine's photos - handsome big brother Sam, and even sweet Finley (their furry 1st child) made a very patient and well-behaved appearance ;).  

I just love this family and have had the best time capturing their growing girl...

The { B } Family

Thrilled to share photos from this recent session with a family that seriously couldn't be more fun if they tried.  The "B's" are neighbors and friends, and I was totally flattered and excited when they asked me to capture all of them together despite very busy schedules.

We once again got super lucky with a gorgeous November day. And I've said it before, but working with older kids is SUCH a fun change of pace.  The interaction, giggles, funny stories and limited time I spend chasing them in circles is always refreshing ;).  

I have far too many favorites from this session, so here is just a quick sample of a few classic family photos along with those that just straight up make me giggle. ;)
