Grier Winning { 18 months }

Meet lovely Grier Winning who recently came to visit me for her 18-month photos.  First off, how cool is that name?!  I've always loved the name Grier, and then her mama shared that her middle name "Winning" is a family name that dates back to Barnett Winning (born in 1818)!

Anyway, I must say this session was such a treat from start to finish. I first met Grier's darling mama when we were both about 4 months pregnant with our girls (Delaney and Grier are only a few weeks apart). We've stayed in touch over the past two years and I've just loved watching Miss Grier grow.

There are so many Grier"isms" that I adore - she is amazingly smart, and would literally prance right over to her "special spot" (aka the center of each backdrop) whenever asked.  Grier also loves music and would just light up whenever her mama and I started another round of Itsy Bitsy Spider.  And finally, I am obsessed with that little twirl she does with her tongue (you can see it in many of her super smiley pics below)!

    WE LOVE THESE!
    We laughed at her facial expressions and "aww" -ed over every picture. Thank you so much for capturing her personality so well.

    you did an amazing job capturing the grier we love. i seriously have tears falling down my cheeks typing this ... you did such a great job capturing grier ... i am so so incredibly lucky to call this precious, beautiful girl my first niece!!
